Mar 09, 2011 The three teasers and first trailer of Alice: Madness Returns including gameplay footage all compiled into one HD Video. The game will be released June 14th 2011.
American McGee's cynical and GRIMDARK vision of Alice is making a big comeback with Madness Returns this June, and the console versions of the sequel will have a special treat for gamers who have yet to see what the big fuss over the series is about.
Producer McGee confirms that the console releases of Alice: Madness Returns will be bundled with a special DLC code that players can redeem for a digital download of the original Alice title.
The first title, originally released back in October 2000 and selling 1.5 million copies as of last July, was only for the PC and Mac platforms so console gamers missed out. Not this time around; PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers will finally get their shot at the first game once they get their hands on the sequel.
Updated 2011-05-12: Looks like PC gamers will have a shot at scoring a digital copy of the first game as well, but only if they purchase Madness Returns through the EA Store as part of the Alice: Madness Returns - The Complete Collection package. This bundle will set you back $49.99 USD, exactly the same price as the standard PC release, so consider the first game a complimentary bonus. It's one bonus that won't be available anywhere else.
