Alice Madness Returns For Windows 10

Madness

Backward Compatibility lets gamers on the Xbox One play plenty of titles that were made for the Xbox 360, all without paying for the game again if you already own it. While you can’t just pop any Xbox 360 disc into your Xbox One and get into the action, the list of games in the program keeps on growing, with plenty of great games coming in regularly.

Purchase American McGee’s Alice™ today, or download it for free as part of your Online Pass, and experience where the madness began! Play through the cult classic and relive Alice's battle against the Queen of Hearts as she fights to regain control of her Wonderland. A prequel of this game - a free app called Alice: Madness Returns Storybook for iTunes, iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch - was released on May 20, 2011. It covers the main events of American McGee's Alice while telling the story of Alice in the asylum (which is largely based on American McGee's Alice: Casebook, a text supplement to the first game).

The latest of those releases just so happens to be Alice: Madness Returns, the sequel to 2000’s American McGee’s Alice. It’s a brutal hybrid of action and horror, offering an incredibly dark take on Lewis Carroll’s original tale.

You can find Alice: Madness Returns in the Xbox Marketplace for $19.99 here. You can also snag a physical copy on Amazon, but they’re slightly more expensive, with the price hovering around $25 at the time of writing. Either way, both versions will work on your Xbox One – simply check the Ready to Install section in My Games & Apps if you own it digitally, or insert the disc into your Xbox One if you own it physically. It’s worth noting that physical Xbox 360 games will need to be completely downloaded to work on your Xbox One due to how Backward Compatibility works, so make sure you have all the data you need if you’re stuck dealing with a strict cap.
